SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today addressed army personnel deployed along the Line of Control in the Tangdhar Sector, issuing a direct warning to Pakistan over its continued support to armed groups targeting India.<\/p>\n
He said nothing across the border was beyond the reach of the Indian Army. \u201cThe whole world has seen the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces, and then the enemy began pleading for a ceasefire,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The Lieutenant Governor accused the neighbouring country of promoting violence through borrowed resources. \u201cOur neighbour is bent on destroying humanity on the strength of debt. I believe they have learnt a lesson from the response of our soldiers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with soldiers and reviewed the security situation with army and police officials. He praised the troops for their vigilance and commitment to defending the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cI salute your valour and devotion. I pray that the nation always remains in the safe hands of heroes like you,\u201d Sinha said.<\/p>\n
He added that the armed forces would firmly respond to any provocation.<\/p>\n\n
