Tourism is our lifeline,\u201d said a local hotel owner.<\/p>\n<p>Tariq Ahmad, President of the Guides Association of Tangmarg and Gulmarg, told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the region is finally seeing some tourist footfall after a major setback caused by tensions with Pakistan. \u201cWe wholeheartedly welcome these tourists,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The resurgence is being viewed as a positive sign, reflecting continued faith in Gulmarg\u2019s safety and scenic charm.
