Officials said the project is in its final stages and is being executed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1205\">The \u201cGolden Arc Road,\u201d a nearly 200-kilometre strategic route, links south Kashmir with western districts and connects important border areas such as Akhnoor, Rajouri, and Poonch.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1375\">Officials added that the highway includes four major tunnels\u2014Kandi, Sungal, Naushera, and Bhimber Gali\u2014being developed to ensure all-weather connectivity in the region.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1549\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Earlier, the 700-metre Naushera tunnel has already been completed, while work on the 260-metre Kandi tunnel and the 1.1-kilometre Bhimber Gali tunnel is currently underway.
