In situations of difficulty \u2014 whether in Lok Adalats, arbitration or advisory roles \u2014 we look up to these experienced judges for guidance on what is right and what is not,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"802\" data-end=\"1021\">Justice Surya Kant emphasised the need for greater awareness and proactive functioning within the judiciary and related institutions, including the National Legal Services Authority and state legal services authorities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1314\">He said former judges can play an important role as mediators and arbitrators, especially in commercial and family disputes, by acting as pre-litigation counsellors, explaining legal rights in simple language, mentoring young mediators, and preserving institutional memory for future judges.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1479\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also addressed the programme, stating that public trust in the judiciary remains strong and continues to grow.
