NEW DELHI, Apr 27: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has written to Delhi High Court Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma stating that he will not appear in the excise case either personally or through his lawyer before her court, the party said on Monday.
In his letter, Kejriwal said, “My hope of getting justice from Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma has been broken. Therefore, I have decided to follow Mahatma Gandhi’s path of Satyagraha.”
He added that the decision was taken after “listening to the voice of conscience.”
The former Delhi Chief Minister further stated that he reserves the right to approach the Supreme Court to challenge Justice Sharma’s order. (Agency)
