Srinagar, Apr 20 : The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) on Monday restricted media engagement within the party to a select list of 14 approved spokespersons. The party also warned that any unauthorised interaction with the media would be considered a violation of party protocols.
Chief spokesperson Dr. Mehboob Beg told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that only officially designated spokespersons and additional authorised representatives have been allowed to give interviews, participate in debates, or issue statements to the media. He said the decision was taken to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accountability in public communication.
“Any unauthorised engagement with the media may lead to misrepresentation and will be treated as a violation of established communication protocols,” he said.
The party’s approved list includes Adv. Firdous Tak, Adv. Aditya Gupta, Mohd Iqbal Trumboo, Najmu Saqib, Mohit Bhan, Syed Iqbal Tahir, Syed Tajamul, Mohd Amin Dar, Zuhaib Yousf Mir, Varinder Singh Sonu, Tazeem Dar, Shouqia Qureshi, Rajat Randhawa, and Adv. Showkat Choudary. (Agency)
