JAMMU, Apr 25: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Rising Star Corps, Lieutenant General Rajan Sharawat, on Saturday reviewed the operational preparedness of troops in Jammu and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X, the Rising Star Corps stated that the GOC assessed the operational readiness of forces deployed in the two border districts.
Jammu and Samba districts are strategically significant as they are located close to the International Border.
During the review, the GOC appreciated the troops for their high level of operational readiness, professionalism, and steadfast dedication in carrying out their duties. (Agency)
